[/text_output][text_output] In September 1953 Jackson Avenue Baptist Church embarked on a journey to accomplish their portion of the Great Commission here in Lovington. What started out as a small mission by First Baptist Church later grew into a larger congregation than the founding church. Throughout the decades we have experienced many joys and struggles but we have touched the lives of thousands of people with the Gospel through our ministries and outreach efforts. As we continue on our journey we invite you to come and join us as we go…[/text_output][line][line][text_output]
Our mission is the same one given to the disciples on a Judean hilltop 2000 years ago.

Share, Train, Grow & Mature, Repeat. We share with everyone that the only way to be saved is to believe in Jesus Christ. Next we teach those who have believed to tell what they have experienced. Then we are to grow and mature every believer by showing them to observe and obey the ways of Christ.
